A useful coverage discussion starts with the policy form, endorsements, the circumstances and the relevant dates.
The worksheet helps you ask those questions. It does not determine whether a hypothetical event would be covered.
Understand coverage and limitationsHow to use your worksheet
Take the worksheet to a conversation with your agent, broker or insurer. Have your declarations page, policy form, endorsements, application and renewal date on hand.
Ask for answers tied to that wording and to your dates. How a policy responds depends on its exact language, the facts of an event and the jurisdiction, so a general answer about “quantum attacks” is rarely useful. Keep the written responses with your insurance records.
The worksheet collects no personal information and does not decide whether an event would be covered. For the questions most worth asking before a renewal, see cyber renewal questions.
